Our Story​

Cierah and Damari met in July 2020, via a dating app called Hinge. Their first date was at Barrio and included a walk in the Tremont neighborhood of Cleveland, Ohio. After several more weeks of spending time together, they began dating on September 5, 2020.

The first two and a half years of the relationship were long-distance, so there was a lot of traveling up and down the highway visiting one another. They spent their weekends trying out new restaurants, finding things to watch on TV, and cherishing the few days at a time they had together.

There has also been traveling in and out of state and country! Some of our favorite destinations so far include Hawaii, the Bahamas, and the Cayman Islands.

On September 5, 2024, assisted by his cousins who captured the moment on camera, Damari took Cierah to the Cleveland Cultural Gardens where he proposed to her.

They are very excited to embark on this journey and to celebrate this joyous occasion with friends and family!

Met in 5th grade basketball and have kept in contact ever since. Robbed of senior superlative for “Best Friends” in high school, but we did win the Halloween costume contest as Mario and Luigi.

Older brother of the groom for 29 years (and counting). Chef of the family and protector. Once helped me get my bike back from a neighborhood kid that stole it.

Miguel Morales

Friends since high school track and field. Cooler than the other side of the pillow. Works hard for what he wants in life, and works even harder to maintain his hairstyle.

Fellow high school band geek. The human embodiment of the phrase, “rest is for the dead.” Never had FOMO because he’s never missed a moment he wanted to be part of.

Bryan Deal

Groomsman

My longest standing friendship (over 20 years). This man is so extroverted that he’s never met a stranger. Life of the party who is always down for a drink and a conversation.

Event Information

Accommodation​

We will have a block of hotel rooms reserved for our out of town guests.

What to Wear​

Semi-formal / cocktail attire. Please avoid wearing white dresses, t-shirts and jeans.

Parking Area​

There will be ample amounts of parking space at the venue for all guests.
